The Selkirk is the finest ski-touring pack in the world. This pack is the result of 3 years of intensive R&D, five complete design changes, testing by numerious Mountain Guides and all of my knowledge gained from a lifetime of ski-touring. I am very proud of this pack.

Every detail on this exceptionally durable pack has been designed to make your ski-touring day more comfortable and efficient.

Features/details (ALL are included in the $250 price):

• Custom fit back panel and shoulder strap length.
• Thin (16cm) depth means the Selkirk rides close to your back for superb balance & exceptional load carrying.
• Mix of 500 and 1000d Cordura for an optimal weight/durability ratio.
• External bellowed shovel blade/skins pocket with #10 YKK water-resistiant zipper.
• Two external probe/shovel handle/saw pockets (one on each side of the pack) with #5 YKK water-resistiant zippers.
• Removable bivi foam in back panel.
• Floating/removable lid.
• The male portions of the webbing/buckles for the lid/pack attachment are on the lid; so when you remove the lid, the dangley straps are removed as well. This leaves you with a super-clean pack.
• Two pockets on lid with #5 YKK water-resistiant zippers.
• Large, mitt-friendly grab loop.
• Three 3/4" compression straps per side with side release (fastex) buckles. This means you can place your skis on the pack then clip the straps over the skis rather than trying to slide the skis into the compression straps.
• Three point haul loop system
• Two removable ice axe attachments
• Removable/reversable 3/4" sternum strap
• Padded 1.5" webbing hip belt.
• Double layer bottom.
• 3mm genuine Mammut cord for the draw cord and pull tabs.
• All seams are finished with nylon binding tape.
• All seams are double or triple stitched with nylon thread.
